Local Thrift Store

Local Thrift Store

Our Thrift Store in Indio IS more than retail spaces, they are places of ministry. Volunteers help keep the store open 6 days a week and profits fund local outreach service projects as well as student camp scholarships. They also provide a free outfit to any person in need. Read with Me Program

Education and literacy are critical to lifetime success. If a child is not at reading level by 3rd grade, statistics show they are highly likely on the path to homelessness, poverty and crime. That is why Southwest volunteers serve through Read with Me in local schools, providing English-speaking role models for children who are learning to become fluent in reading English.
